Kings of Igbere
Autonomous Communities are now a reality keeping in line with current political developments in Nigeria and ranging from the times of Eluelu County Council through Bende Local Government Authority of Old Umuahia Province to the attempted Ummunna Local Government Authority which may still become a reality in near future to present, Igbere have its share of leadership in Nigeria as autonomous communities are said to be a way of bringing dividends of democracy nearer to the grassroots. Following are the current Kings of Igbere who constitue the Igbere Council of Ndi-Eze
